So I finished watching my DVD's of Season 5 and so many thoughts going through my mind. Where and When and What will be after the flash? My bet is the season will start with a closeup on an eye opening, whose will it be? If Jack's does it mean we are back where we started? Did he really get to click his heels together and go home?
How weird was it to watch Richard with survivors in 1977 AND 2007?
Jack doesn't know this, but his RESET will be very bad for Rose and Bernard. On the island she is cancer free. Off the island, she dies.
I got a very heavy "Book of Job" vibe watching Jacob and the Man In Black scenes. Are Jacob(God?) and MIB(Satan) running a cosmic test on humanity? Ben, unlike Job, doesn't keep his faith, but loses it and kills (really?) Jacob.
Are the Ajira folk the remnants of Dharma? It must exist somewhere since the Hatch was getting those food drops. Who is Penny's mother? Is Smokey really Richard? He says he gets his orders from Jacob. We were told Jacob is "in charge" on the Island. Remember the carving on the column over the vent where Smokey came out for Ben's judgement? It showed an image of what appeared to be the smoke creature in front of the seated Egyptian god whose statue is out on the beach.
Which takes me back to is Jacob a good witch or a bad witch?
